Where in the World is Blue Jersey Radio?

by: Jeff Gardner

Fri Oct 05, 2007 at 11:10:49 PM EDT

Did you miss it? Good thing we gotcha covered!

Baby, if you've ever wondered,
Wondered whatever became of me,
I'm living on the air in Cincinnati,
Cincinnati, WKRP...BJR.

Every Saturday morning at 10:30, Blue Jersey Radio streams LIVE from somewhere with Trenton's latest buzz, interviews with newsmakers, and your calls.

This week: That somewhere is Cincinnati, OH, and that buzz you hear is actually coming from D.C. as Jay shares his week in Washington with New Jersey's Congressional delegation.

If you ever happen to miss a show (horror or horrors!) there's always the ol' BlogTalkRadio page and listen to one of our archived segments, like last week's show.

Better yet - make it easy on yourself, and just Subscribe here and download shows automatically to your iPod:

But remember - only LIVE callers get to hear themselves talk.

I love the WKRP reference.  Makes me want to tune in....

WKRP (4.00 / 1)
My favorite WKRP live ever:

I swear! I thought they could fly...!

(Extra credit if you know what they are). I'm talking to you, Paul Aronsohn. How big a WKRP fan are ya?

It's not a particularly snappy signature, but here's what I think we need in the next NJ Democratic State Chair.

YES!!!! (4.00 / 1)
Half my family's in Cincinnati, and that line sends us all into hysterics. Bless Les Nessman, newsman at WKRP in Cincinnati.

Your prize: The 5th Congressional District of New Jersey. Someday. Whenever you're ready.

It's not a particularly snappy signature, but here's what I think we need in the next NJ Democratic State Chair.

Funny... (4.00 / 2)
...The three of us are really dating ourselves.  I'm sure there are many bluejerseyans asking themselves "What's WKRP and why do these old folks care so much about it?"  Nonetheless, before there was "The Office" there was Les Nessman's invisible door.

That's a great prize.  Thanks.  It would be an honor.....

Great line by Dennison (4.00 / 1)
When describing Diane Allen:  She's a a shrewd politician but a flawed public servant.
