Rasmussen Poll: Corzine in trouble

by: Hopeful

Thu Jan 15, 2009 at 05:14:51 PM EST

I don't think there is much good news for our governor in the latest Rasmussen poll of New Jersey: "Christie leads Corzine 42% to 40%, essentially a toss-up given the poll's margin of sampling error."  Worse yet, 54% disapprove of Corzine's performance.  Of course there are many undecided, and it is early yet.  Rasmussen was the most accurate in the 2008 Presidential election, so don't appeal to a Republican lean.

In related news, Governor Corzine has told the AP that he will self-fund his campaign rather than take public money, though that's not exactly a surprise.

Is it me or does Corzine look like a weak leader?

It seems that everytime he says something he backs away from his position when someone or a group of someone's oppose him.

The guy just looks like he is always taking a lot of sh*t.

Pension deferral / weak response to Democratic state senators who opposed him.

State worker wage freeze/ he looked weak when CWA opposed him.

E-Mails/ Why has he not told Wilson to just  go f**k off !

I like the guy but he better grow a set of balls pretty soon or Christie will be calling the shots.
