With my bullet proof vest, grey suit, and For Rent signs, I started the first of many appearances at Bob Menendez's rally with his far left wing supporters in East Brunswick. Of course, many of you remember me from the event at Rutgers, where I ensured "my twin's" reputation as landlord was noticed by all. Some of you forget that our side has successfully shaped the debate this year, and that really is the democrats fault. The poll today shows that even if people believe that Tom Kean is a Republican, like W, he is still his own man, an Independent Reformer, and is likely to win in November. IRAQ, IRAQ, IRAQ, won't win this election, because in NJ taxes are the NUMBER ONE issue. Not to mention the fact that Kean really does believe that Iraq needs a change of course, not a PULLOUT....but Cut and Run are the only two words your party understands. One Letter (W) and two words are the equation to victory.
Now in my defense:
First of all the FLIP FLOPS for the 1st day were a strategic choice, albeit unfashionalbe, but if they worked for John Kerry I figured I would give them a try.
Secondly you must admit that the similarity in looks is scary, and believe me on November 8th, I will do everything in my power to change that....until then I will be Boss Bob "And Weave".
Finally, you should really look at the facts of this case instead of partisan political rhetoric in place of legal statutes. Would the rental deal have been that large of an issue if Bob was not a US Representative, ABSOLUTELY NOT, but the fact remains we should hold those elected IN BOTH PARTIES ACCOUNTABLE as Chris Christie has shown. The Torch found it necessary to admit his corrupt behavior, which was equal to that of Menendez.
Democrats really should have but Rob Andrews or Dick Codey in that seat to begin with, you might have gained the Senate this year.
But you didn't and now its legally too late.
At least we will have someone in the Senate who will stand up to President Bush, and NOT cave in to the pressure of Hudson County, and Trenton entrenched corrupt politicians. |
BTW Thugs...I thought you Doves hated that word (0.00 / 0)
I tend to remember in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and now in 2006, Democrats attacking the President for calling terrorist and dictators THUGS....but I guess its ok to call a group of peaceful protesters fighting an entrenched corrupt Senator a group of THUGS....I sure am glad that your party walks both sides of every word, well every issue for that matter |
